Budget Planner
I like to plan. Not the way that most normal people do though. My junior year in college I created a financial spreadsheet for my future of what certain incomes would look like against the monthly expenses of a man in his early 20s. My budget is detailed and is laid out to where the only thing I need to change is the yearly income space and the expenses sections. I do this so I can start now preparing for how I will need to manage my budget. I also do this so I know what I will be able to afford with certain income levels.

Eagle Scout Project
The Eagle Scout Project is probably the most important task for any Eagle Scout to accomplish. Like any event though, it is not just about getting people together and building a garden. There is much more that goes into the development of the project and the planning. Much of what you learn during your project is not the leadership skills, but the skills of how to raise funds, manage a budget, manage time slots for volunteers, and keep things organized. The candidate must create an Eagle Scout Project Book, its main purpose is, “If you were to quit and give up tomorrow, would we be able to take this book and construct your project the exact same way that you are planning on it.” That is a quote from my scoutmaster that has always stuck with me. I make sure that when ever I am working on something important from now on, if something were to happen to me, others could pick up right where I left off, due to me doing a great job of preparing and showing every step of the process before the first one is taken.

Head Lifeguard
In high school I was the head lifeguard at Bent Tree Country Club. This management position was in charge of the entire lifeguard staff. While in this position I had to create weekly schedules for all of my staff according to the times that they had asked off, and also to give every team member a fair share of hours. This took organizing and preparing in order to have every schedule out a week in advance.
